What is Instant Pot?
Many people are looking for ways to speed up their cooking process, and the instant pot is one of the best ways to accomplish this. The instant pot is a multi-cooker that can cook a variety of different foods from rice to noodles to chili. It has a programmable function that allows you to set the cooking time for whatever food you want to cook. Instant pots are great for making rice, soups, and stews, and they can even be used as slow cookers. The great thing about the instant pot is that it saves you a lot of time and you don’t have to continuously monitor the food as it cooks.
Instant Pot Chicken Recipes
Cooking is not something that most people do well, and it’s even more difficult to cook in an Instant Pot. However, with a few basic steps, you can get it down. First, brown your chicken. This is done by using a large skillet with a little oil, and heating your skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is heated, add the chicken and brown each side of the chicken for about 6 minutes. After the chicken has browned, place it in the Instant Pot. Cover the chicken with the pressure cooker, set the valve to “sealing” and set the pressure to high pressure. Cook the chicken for 20 minutes. Once the chicken is finished cooking, allow it to cool for a few minutes before removing it from the Instant Pot. Take the chicken out of the Instant Pot and place it on a plate. Then remove the lid and drain any fat that was released by the chicken. Once the chicken has cooled, remove the chicken and shred it. A good tip is to eat the chicken on the same day it is cooked. The skin of the chicken will firm up when it cools, and this can make it harder to shred the chicken. If you are cooking this chicken for dinner the next day, remove the skin and fat from the chicken before refrigerating it.
