Cowboy Ribeye Steaks
Cowboy ribeye is a delicious cut of meat that is found in the shoulder of a beef cow. This is typically considered to be the best tasting steak on the cow, making it a treat for the chef. The cut has a lot of flavor, making it a must for a rich and creamy sauce. For this recipe, a cowboy ribeye steak will be our focus. The steak should be marinated for at least an hour in white vinegar and then brushed with olive oil. Then the steak will be roasted in the oven at a temperature of 450 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes. While the steak is cooking, we will make a pan sauce by sautéing tomatoes, garlic and onions in olive oil. After the steak has cooked, we will remove it from the oven and brush it with more olive oil and grill it to get that final crispy outer layer.
To Serve
When cooked correctly, the cowboy ribeye steak is the most tender, juicy, and delicious steak you will ever eat. To cook it correctly, you must start by preparing the grill. Choose a set of high quality, outdoor-rated, professional-grade, stainless steel grilling tools, like the Rancho Grande Texas Grill. Then, wash your grill, so it’s ready for the steaks. This means no oil or grime on the grill. Next, season the grilling grate with GrillGrates. Then, place one steak on each grilling grate, and make sure the surface area is equal. Sear each steak for about two minutes on each side, ensuring the meat is seared evenly. Then, move each steak to a cooler side of the grill, and let the steaks rest for three to four minutes. After the steaks rest, move them to the other side of the grill, and sear them for another two to three minutes on the opposite side. Next, remove the steak to a plate, and let it rest for two to three minutes. Finally, slice the steak into thin strips, and serve it on a salad.
