If you’re not sure if you have a pampered chef pizza stone you can usually find out by looking at the bottom. Look for the words pampered chef. This is a good way to tell the difference between pampered chef pizza stones and those made by other companies. Next you’ll need a pampered chef pizza stone cleaner. If you don’t have a cleaner you can also use a baking soda/water mixture. This will help you clean the outside of the stone. First, mix 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of water. Set aside. Put the pampered chef pizza stone in a cold oven set at 400 degrees. If you don’t have a pampered chef pizza stone then you can do this in your oven. I prefer this method. Once the oven is preheated and your stone is in, take the stone out and sprinkle a little bit of baking soda mixture on the pizza stone. If you put too much baking soda on the pizza stone, then you might have to scrape off some of it later. I own a P.C.P.S. and used to clean it regularly with a soft scrub brush and oven cleaner. After it had sat around for a while, the cleaning part of it stopped working and would take a fair amount of scrubbing to get off.

This pizza stone is simple to clean. There’s nothing fancy about it. Just take the pizza stone out of the oven, let it cool, and remove the pizza on top. Then, scrape the bottom with a sharp knife to remove any grease that’s accumulated. Once you have done that, you’re ready to go.
