Every family needs a good old fashioned potato recipe. They can be used for making mashed potatoes, french fries or even baked in the oven. Here’s a simple method for making crispy air fry potato, without all the fuss!
Do Not Peel the Potatoes
Potatoes are a great side dish for any meal, but they can be tough to peel. Peeling the skin off is easy enough if you slice the potato first, but the tough skin can be hard to remove. Instead of peeling the potato, take it a step further and air fry it. Air frying is the process of cooking food in hot air instead of oil. Air frying uses a fan to circulate the hot air, which heats the potato evenly. Potatoes can be air fried at any time of the year, but they are particularly good in the fall and winter. To air fry the potato, heat an oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the potatoes on the paper and brush with oil. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the potato is done to your liking. Next, take the hot potato out of the oven and place on the lid of the oven to cool. This will allow the air fryer to circulate the hot air around the potato.
First, Wash the Potatoes in Cold Water
Wash potatoes in cold water and cut them in half. If you don’t do this you will see an oily film on the surface, which causes the oil to remain in the potatoes.
Cut the Potatoes Into Equal Sizes
It is very simple and easy to make your potato slices air fry without any oil. You just have to follow the method. Potato slices cut into equal size. The potato slices should be cut into equal size. Cut potato slices should be done properly. Put slices into a bowl. Add salt and red chili powder. Mix all the ingredients.
Put the Heat to Medium
The modern kitchen has many new exciting appliances, but the single most useful is probably the air fryer. Many people enjoy using a deep fryer to make some delicious french fries, but it can be messy, noisy, and potentially dangerous.
Eat it as a side dish or meal
It’s easy to prepare potatoes in the air fryer. You don’t have to pre-soak your potatoes or precook them on the stove. The air fryer comes with a steamer basket that you place the potato in. The basket is very shallow and has no holes in it. The basket is heated to over 200 degrees F. This heats the air surrounding the basket and allows you to easily turn the basket over to fry the other side of the potato.
