It is found in bananas, apples, apricots, and many other fruits. Fructose is also found in dairy products like milk and cream. The body metabolizes fructose differently than glucose, so it isn’t as damaging to the body. However, some research has shown that fructose can contribute to weight gain. This is because the liver converts fructose to fat more easily than glucose. This means that eating too much fructose could lead to weight gain.
Does Banana Cause Cancer?

A starchy carbohydrate is one that requires additional digestion by the body. This includes sugars like glucose and fructose. Sugar is a starchy carbohydrate. Sugars like fructose and glucose are simple carbohydrates. These are the sugars that your body uses as energy. Your brain and body cannot use simple carbohydrates as fuel. But if you eat a starchy carbohydrate, your body will be able to use it.
