The amount of weight you lose will depend on your caloric intake. You can use this formula to estimate how many calories you burn per hour: T = 1.2A + (7.5 × B – (0.5 × B)) × (B × C – (0.25 × B) × (B × C – (0.125 × B)) × (B × C – 0.0625 × B))/100, where: T = estimated calories burned per hour, A = the estimated number of activity factors (calories burned per hour while sitting or sleeping, resting or lying down, exercising or biking, walking, running, swimming, etc), B = the estimated weight of the person in pounds, and C = the estimated weight in kilograms. Calories Burned During Breastfeeding
There are different ways to measure how many calories you burn while breastfeeding. The most obvious way is to calculate how many calories are burned by breastfeed. This is a rough estimate, but it can be used as a guide. For reference, the average person burns about 500 calories a day. This includes the calories burned while sleeping, exercising and other basic activities. But during the day, you will burn some calories if you breastfeed. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommend breastfeeding for at least one year, which adds up to about 16,500 calories.

As a general rule, nursing doesn’t burn any extra calories. However, you should be careful about how much you eat in the days before and after nursing. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, nursing women should keep a food journal to help them determine how many calories they should be eating. It’s recommended that nursing women limit their calorie intake to no more than 1,200 calories, or no more than 3,500 calories per day for overweight women. It’s not recommended to take in less than 1,200 calories per day. If you’re exercising, then you can take in even fewer calories. So if you want to lose weight, nursing may not be a good idea. However, you should still eat healthy.

Nursing can burn up to 600 calories per hour. That is a lot of calories. To put that in perspective, a typical man burns about 25 calories a day, and a woman burns about 20 calories a day. You are burning an additional 500 calories per day from nursing. That adds up.
