Don‘t worry about any fillings in ground turkeys. They are fine. Just cook them through and don”t add any spices. You can add a little bit of salt too. Ground turkey needs to be cooked to 165 degrees Fahrenheit (or 74 degrees Celsius) for optimum results. This is important because the internal temperature is the only way to know if the meat is done. To check this, insert a thermometer into the center of a piece of chicken or turkey and let it rest for about 10 minutes. After resting, remove the thermometers and place them in cold water. Once the temperatures are stable, test again. You will notice that the outside temperature will be lower than the middle.
Can you cook raw ground turkey?

Is it okay if ground turkey is a little pink?
No, turkey burger still has some red in there. You don’t want to overcook it. If you do, you’ll have a pink center. This is normal. But when it comes to cooking, remember that the pink centers are actually the result of bacteria being killed off. So, if it looks like it might be pink, don‘t worry about it! The pinkness of turkey meat is completely normal, even if the center is slightly pink. Cooking it to 165°F will kill off the harmful bacteria. Remember, too, that if your meat isn“t pink enough, simply reheating it will make it pinker.
Can you overcook ground turkey?
