This is because the instant pot is designed to heat up the ingredients within the same time it takes to boil water. Therefore, even though the InstantPot will require longer cooking times for fresh foods (which is why it comes in two sizes), it should still cook the product quicker. To get the best results, you want to use the right size Instantpot. If you are using the smaller InstantPots, do not overfill them. You want the pressure cooker to be able to handle the amount of food you plan to make. Overfilling the pot can cause the meat to stick to itself, making it difficult to remove.
