You can also serve the soup over rice or noodles. This is also delicious with chicken or beef. If you don’t have a blender you could use a food processor. Serve with steamed vegetables. I usually add a little chopped onion and garlic to this soup. Also, you might want to add some chopped fresh cilantro. For the best flavor, I recommend using a high quality broth.

Frozen cooked shrimps can easily be tossed with pasta while they are still hot, making them easy to add to any stir-fry. If you don‘t want to use lemon here, you could use a lemon peel instead. This recipe will make about 10 cups of shrimp. You can also use any other citrus fruit you like. Can you cook frozen shrimp on the stove?
You can boil shrimp peeled and unadorned on a stove, or you’ll need to peel them before cooking. If using raw shrimp – which are often less expensive than cooked ones – you should peel when you get them out of their shell. This will make them easier to slice and dice. You don’t need much salt, either, since you want to cook the shrimp without any excess salt. For the best results, you might want about 1/4 cup of salt per pound of shrimp. However, if your shrimp are large, I recommend adding a little more salt to taste. And, of course, always remember to drain the water off the pan after you’ve added the butter and garlic.
How do you know when shrimp is done?
That’s the tip: Stay locks onto those thick parts of shrimp, which are the opposite ends as their tails, when they turn from transparent to black. They’re cooked all the way through, so they’re done! It takes a bit longer than the other method, though. And it requires a little more work, too. But it works. I’ve seen it work. Just watch out for those crevices. If you don’t, you’ll end losing your shrimp. Don’t worry about it. You’ll get them back. Use a large pan to cook the fish, allowing it to brown on all sides. Then add the remaining oil and allow it too get heated. Place the cooked fish in individual serving bowls. Pour the sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve. This recipe is great for serving to guests. You can make this recipe in advance and refrigerate it until needed. Serve with rice or noodles. Or, you could make it ahead and reheat it in microwave oven. For a healthier version, substitute vegetable oil for 1 tablespoon of olive oil. To make the recipe healthier, use less oil, such as 1/4 cup. If you want to make a vegetarian version of this dish, omit the chicken and use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
