Once again, I was in the mood for some chicken that’s ready and easy to make, so I looked up some recipes online. It turns out that a lot of the instant pot recipes take about an hour or more of cooking time. I have an instant pot, so I figured, “why not make some chicken in it, have some dinner, and be done in an hour?” A few things to know about the instant pot: There is only one temperature setting and it’s high (as in, the top is on high). When it’s on high, it will boil water and heat food, but won’t come to a boil. There is no pressure cooking, but there is a sealing cycle, which I’ll show you in a minute. First, let’s talk about the ingredients. The chicken legs you’ll need for this recipe are lean and boneless. The recipe I found says to use one small (6- to 8-ounce) package, but I think a whole one will work just fine. It calls for two tablespoons of lemon juice, but I use lemon zest because I like the citrus flavor. Also, I like using egg and breadcrumbs for a more even coating, but the recipe doesn’t specify that. I don’t have a spaghetti squash, so I just used a 10-ounce package of frozen one. The last thing you need is celery, which you can skip.
Tips for using the instant pot
Generally, you can cook frozen chicken in the instant pot. But there are a few things to keep in mind, since cooking meat and vegetables in the instant pot will change the cooking time for these foods. The most important thing to remember is to leave enough space between the food and the sides of the pot. This can help avoid splatters when the food is cooking. If you don’t have enough space, you can cook the food slightly longer to avoid splatters. Another thing to keep in mind is to cook the food at the lowest pressure, since this can make the food easier to digest and prevents splatters. However, this will generally reduce the cooking time for the food. Lastly, you may want to check the cooking time for the food and use this time as a guideline. The time listed for the food may not be the same as it is for other foods. However, the time listed will still help you know the cooking time for the food.
Frozen chicken is perfect for when you have no time to cook. The process is simple, and you can just add it to the pot. However, if you want to improve the flavor, it’s best to cook it longer. So, according to Good Housekeeping, you can bake it for an hour or do a quick 10-minute to an hour cook time. You can also add frozen chicken to the pot for a quick meal. This can help you save time and have food on the table in a short amount of time.
How long do you cook chicken in the instant pot
The short answer is that it takes roughly the same amount of time to cook frozen chicken as it does to cook fresh chicken. We recommend following the cooking instructions included with your frozen chicken.

For the best flavor and texture of the chicken it is recommended to cook chicken under high pressure for about 15 minutes, then switch the valve to the “keep warm” setting and let it stay there for 5 minutes.
