This is an Air fryer for baking. I tested it to see if I could turn out a batch of cinnamon rolls in it. It worked out great. Now, I make rolls on a regular basis and it’s so much faster than the stove top.

Can I Use a Toaster instead of an Airfryer?

When I first got my Airfryer, I thought I could use it in place of my toaster. However, this is not possible. The reason being, an airfryer is specifically designed to cook food in an airtight, temperature controlled chamber, while a toaster is generally just a square box of metal with slots in it. The only way to get your food to cook correctly in an airfryer is to actually put it in the airfryer.

Recipe for Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients 2 cups whole-wheat flour

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

2 cups nonfat milk

2 teaspoons active dry yeast

¼ cup sugar

1 egg

1 tablespoon butter, melted

Directions In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt and cinnamon. Set aside. In a small bowl, combine the milk, yeast, sugar and egg; stir until blended. Add milk mixture to flour mixture and stir to mix. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight. Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish. Remove dough from refrigerator and divide into two pieces. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each piece into a 13-inch rectangle. Brush with butter and sprinkle with sugar. Roll up each rectangle from long side to form a log. Cut each log into 1-inch slices. Arrange slices in baking dish in an even layer. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise at room temperature until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Uncover, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F, and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.

How Long To Cook Cinnamon Rolls?

In most recipes, the amount of time given is the total baking time, so we add baking time as a variable to the recipe. But baking time is the time the recipe requires for the bread to bake and cool. This is the most obvious time, but in many recipes there is a step to add to the bread after it is cooked, such as dipping the rolls or brushing on icing.

Should I Cover the Baking Dish?

The dish itself should be covered with a towel for the first 10 minutes to prevent steam from building up. This prevents any sticking and damage to your dish. Covering the baking dish is a personal choice, but it is recommended to cover the baking dish if you can. If you don’t want to cover it, just wait until the first 10 minutes before removing the towel. For the second 10 minutes of cooking, be sure to wait until the towel has been removed, and remove the dish from the airfryer. The airfryer needs to be filled with cold air in order to cook the food. Remove the dish from the airfryer when the first 10 minutes have passed.

How Long Should I Cook Cinnamon Rolls in the Airfryer?

You can use the airfryer to cook baked goods such as cinnamon rolls, scones, biscuits, pizzas, and breads. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when using an airfryer to cook cinnamon rolls. The recipe you use will influence the cooking time. There is also some difference between the airfryer and a regular oven in how the rolls come out. The airfryer uses convection, so the air flows into the basket and mixes with the dough to cook the food. This means the heat is only on one side of the food, resulting in a faster and more even cooking process. This also means there is less chance of burning the edges of the food. However, the air can dry out food, and this can result in a heavier and chewy result. There are some brands of airfryers that have an automatic shutoff function, so you can leave the food in the basket for a long time while you do something else. This will result in the food being overcooked.
