My husband loves fresh salmon. I am not a big fan of fish at all. I love shrimp, but not salmon. He is always reminding me how easy and delicious it is to grill salmon. I don’t know why I never thought to try it. I love the taste, and now, I make it a point to grill fresh salmon often.
How to Grill the Fish
To cook fresh salmon on the grill, start with a pre-soaked steamer basket, or steamer. Place the steamer basket in a saucepan and fill with water until it’s about 1/2 inch above the basket. Bring the water to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer. Put the salmon in the basket and cover with a lid. Cook for approximately 15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
How to grill fish
Grilling fish is a popular way to enjoy fresh seafood. In this video we show you how to prepare fresh fish on the grill. To make this recipe, you’ll need a fish fillet, a small amount of lemon juice, salt, pepper, and a fish grill. To prepare the fish, begin by rubbing the inside of the fish with the lemon juice. Then sprinkle the salt and pepper on the outside of the fish. After that, rub the grill with oil. Put the fish on the grill, cover with the grill lid, and cook for about 10 minutes. Remove the grill lid and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove the fish from the grill and serve.
Searing the salmon
You can sear salmon by searing a pan or griddle with a little bit of oil. The fish should be put on the pan, and the heat should be just high enough to sear the outside of the salmon. You can sear it for a few minutes on each side.
Cleaning the grill
If you have a grill at home, you should invest in a grill cleaning brush. These brushes are very simple to use, and clean off all the grime and grease. The best brushes will be easy to use, and clean easily. The bristles should be soft and grippy, so they’re easy to use, and remove the grime. They should be stain resistant, so that grime doesn’t leave a permanent mark on the grill. They should also be easy to clean, and ideally look good too.
How to Grill Salmon
Buying fish fresh from the market is the best option. Seafood makes a great protein to pair with grilled vegetables, and you can eat it with just a salad or other side dish. Just keep in mind that the skin of the fish will be rubbery. If you’re grilling your fish, you’ll need to soak it in a large bowl of ice water to get rid of the heat and prevent the meat from overcooking. If you’re using a grill pan, grill it for 3 to 5 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of your fish.
