The uncooked meat should be cooked slowly, preferably in advance of serving. If you purchase the meat raw (or precook) it will need to be thoroughly cooked before being served. For example, if the corns are cut off the bone, you would want to make sure that the animal had ample time to rest before cooking. This will ensure that all of their internal organs are fully cooked. Once the internal parts are removed, however, there is no need for additional cooking time. Slow cooking is the preferred method for cooking this meat. When using a slow cooker, heat the entire pot to medium-high. Then, add the ingredients you wish to incorporate into the dish. Cook for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

For example, if the heat source is too hot, there will be a high risk of burning the surface of any meat. On the other hand, when the internal temperature is low, such as after cooking, we recommend reducing the time of soaking.
Does corned beef get more tender the longer it is cooked?
Cooking cuts of beef are tough, so even when cooked, there is no way to rush the cooking process. Rather, this process takes much longer than normal, which means that the result is always delicious. This is because the steaks are cooked slowly, allowing the internal temperature to rise to well above the desired level. As a result, all of those delicious flavors are released during the final cooking stage. By contrast, many other cuts such as chicken and pork take far too long to cook, resulting in overcooked meats that are dry and tough. However, corning beef gives you a great opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds. You get the full benefit of slow cooking while also getting the extra hour of tenderness that comes with being cooked over high heat.
