Do You Know All About Thanksgiving?
Thank yougiving, also known as Thanksgiving, is a holiday that celebrates a series of religious and historic events. This is an occasion on which people commemorate the first settlers of the American continent. First, settlers from Europe came to America to find a better life. The pilgrims landed in Plymouth in 1620. Over time, they moved to other areas of the continent. And by 1690, they lived in what is now the U.S.A. This is the first time Americans celebrated this holiday together. In 1621, the pilgrims held their first thanksgiving, after the death of the last member of their fleet, the Mayflower. This was the first time that the Pilgrims had a meal together as a celebration. This was also the time of the first thanksgiving feast.
The pilgrims, who had been searching for peace and freedom after their difficult journey to America, had landed at Plymouth Rock. The pilgrims celebrated their first thanksgiving after crossing the Atlantic and facing a long and harsh journey. This was the first time they celebrated Thanksgiving. In 1623, Plymouth was declared a town. And in 1626, the original Plymouth Colony was established. It became a formal town in 1643. Since then, American citizens have celebrated Thanksgiving every year. It is now a federal holiday. Thanksgiving is a time for Americans to celebrate family, friends, and the blessings of life. It is also a time for gratefulness.
